Ford Explorer Towing Capacity: More than two-and-a-half tons of pulling power.
Explorer's all-new rear-wheel-drive architecture contributes to it being a more-than-capable towing machine, regardless of engine. Vehicles equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 EcoBoost and the towing package can haul up to 5,600 pounds, while those outfitted with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost and a towing package can tow up to 5,300 pounds. When properly equipped, Explorer hybrid is rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds.

An available 10.1-inch touchscreen mounted on the center stack brings new clarity to map details. Drivers can also opt to parse the screen into separate sections, displaying music or incoming call information on one half and the navigation mapping on the other. Parking hassles become a thing of the past with Ford's new Active Park Assist 2.0. While the driver needs only press and hold a button on the dashboard, Explorer takes control of the steering wheel, gas pedal, brake pedal and gear shifter to fit the vehicle neatly into a parallel or perpendicular parking space.

Standard across every Explorer model is Ford Co-Pilot360TM, a suite of driver-assist technologies designed to make every trip a confident, stress-free adventure.
